Job Title: Mobile Petting Farm Driver

Location: Remote at various locations surrounding Blue Mounds, WI
Compensation: Competitive pay, based on experience

About Us:
We provide a unique, interactive experience by bringing a mobile petting farm to schools, events, parties, festivals, and more. Our goal is to educate and entertain families, especially children, while providing them the opportunity to interact with and learn about various farm animals in a fun, hands-on environment. We are currently seeking a motivated and responsible Mobile Petting Farm Driver to join our team and help us create unforgettable experiences for our customers.

Position Overview:
The Mobile Petting Farm Driver will be responsible for safely transporting the mobile petting farm from Blue Mounds, WI to scheduled events, setting up and breaking down, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a combination of strong driving skills, experience with animals, and the ability to interact with the public. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and able to problem-solve while ensuring the safety and well-being of both the animals and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport the Mobile Petting Farm: Safely drive a truck and trailer to event locations, ensuring timely and secure arrival.
   
• Set Up and Break Down: Organize and set up the mobile petting farm, including enclosures, equipment, and animals. Tear down and clean up after events.
   
• Animal Care: Ensure the animals are comfortable and well-cared-for during transportation and while on-site.
   
• Customer Interaction: Engage with event attendees, especially children, in a friendly and professional manner. Answer questions and provide educational information about the animals.
   
• Customer Service: Interact with clients, event organizers, and the public to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise during events.
   
• Physical Labor: Assist with lifting, carrying, and setting up equipment, as well as handling and caring for animals (minimum of 75lbs lifting required).
   
• Problem Solving: Address any challenges or unexpected issues that may arise during transportation, setup, or the event itself.
   

Qualifications:

• Good Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record with experience operating a truck and trailer.
   
• Experience with Animals: Comfortable handling and caring for animals, ensuring their safety and well-being.
   
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to engage with customers, event organizers, and the public in a friendly, professional, and informative manner.
   
• Good with Kids: Must be able to interact positively with children and create a fun, educational environment.
   
• Organized and Detail-Oriented: Ability to stay organized, keep track of schedules, and ensure all details are handled efficiently.
   
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to think on your feet and address challenges or changes in plans.
   
• Physical Fitness: Able to lift and carry a minimum of 75lbs.
   
• Flexible Schedule: Available for evening and weekend work, as this position includes events that take place during these times.
